Eritrea: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights now in Tigriyna

Few Eritreans  exilees – former journalists, intellectuals and human rights activists –  this week launched a version of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Tigrinya, one of the national languages spoken in Eritrea, in a video posted on YouTube.

With a background of  images of shipwrecks in the Mediterranean and refugees in overcrowded camps some Eritreans read, in their language, the articles of the Declaration of Human Rights.
