The African Union said it is hopeful the current standoff between Sudan and Eritrea will be resolved peacefully. And that the countries must consider resolving disputes without the use of any force. The AU officials also said the union will intervene if and when it is necessary, based on its governing principles.
It seems Sudan’s forced political crisis with Eritrea (if we can even call it that) was created to invite the TPLF regime through the African Union and baptize Ethiopia’s hostilities and aggression against Eritrea as an African Union initiative.
